Many of you may know that for the past few years, I’ve been “bi-vocational” working as both a Media Consultant/Broadcast Coach and as the Media Director for Christ Church– a multi-site, non-denominational congregation in Northern New Jersey.   This week, I am officially transitioning out of my role at Christ Church.  I’ll be focusing on Malavé Media and its new push on Social Media Marketing & Development.

For the past 3 & 1/2 years, I have had the privilege of working with a great team of staff & volunteers.  Together, we met the varied multimedia needs of the 6,000 person congregation and the 70+ ministries that serve the communities of North Jersey.  From upgrading the entire video capabilities to HD at the historic Montclair Cathedral (East Campus) to converting an old HP/Agilent Technologies warehouse into sacred space in Rockaway (West Campus) — complete with a state-of-the-art  HD digital multimedia infrastructure — together, we did it!

To the Leadership and Family of Christ Church, I say thank you for the  incredible opportunity you gave me to serve God and others – using my gifts as a communicator.   I’m especially grateful to the core media team of Rosa Howell-Thornhill, Dawn Williams, Chris Renné, Moise LaPorte, Louis Denis, and Wayne & Susan Newkirk for co-laboring with me in service to the Lord.  Thank you all so much for your hard work and the encouragement you always gave me.  My thanks as well to all of the 40+ media volunteers who weekly serve in Video, CD Recording & Duplication, Overhead Projection and covering the many events at Christ Church.
