Just a quick note to say, “¡Feliz Cumpleaños!”  to my dad, Domingo Malavé.  Today, he turns 79.

I’m so grateful to God that we’re able to celebrate this milestone.  As many of you may know, Dad suffered a massive stroke three years ago. He is in good spirits even though he’s bedridden and not able to speak.

I’m also eternally grateful to my sister Shirley, who is his primary caregiver. This picture was taken back in 2003; it’s one of my favorites.

Dad: Thank you for being a man of integrity and always demonstrating God’s love in word & action.
